California Condors- the Largest Birds in North America

This week I worked on a project at the Grand Canyon with the National Center on Accessibility.
I was really amazed by the canyon's debth and beauty.
Durring my travels, I learned a great deal about the California Condor, a bird that shows its emotions through changing its skin colors.
These amazing birds were nearly whiped out; in 1987 there were only 22 California Condors left. They now number in the hundreds.
