Cool Video Project

To get young people talking about HIV, the University of Georgia's New Media Institute lent two dozen students video-enabled mobile phones and asked them to create 30-second clips about HIV testing. As videos streamed in, they were edited by professional producers and experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, before being posted on YouTube, Facebook and MySpace. "We have to go where they already are -- not ask them to come to us," explains the professor in charge of the program.
