Life through the lens of Asperger's Syndrome

I have been reading House Rules by Jodi Picoult
Jacob, the oldest child in this book is diagnosed with Asperger's. The book tells the story of his life, including his incarsoration as a young adult. The story is fiction based loosly on fact.
Many people with Asperger's say they feel like they were born on The Wrong Planet
After reading this book I found myself asking, "Just what is normal after all?"

The American Psychiatric Association recently unveiled a plan to drop Asperger's disorder as a diagnosis in the DSM5, and the decision is getting mixed reviews from
people with the condition.
