Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams

I just finished the book, "The Last Lecture." This is an incredible book written by Randy Pausch, a guy who just died last week of cancer. He was a computer scientist and a father to three kids who are all six years old and younger. This lecture and the accompanying book are Randy's message to his kids. He talks a lot in the book about
his boyhood dream to play NFL football. Though he never made it to the NFL, he states, "experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted." as a kid. Randy was the smallest boy on the football team; he wasn't a very good football player. That said, Randy's coach pushed him to work hard- to do things he didn't think he was physically capable of achieving. "He gave me a feedback loop for life." a YouTube - Randy Pausch Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams
